Emergency medical help in Girona

🚨 Life-threatening emergencies

If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 112 (the European emergency number).

You may be connected to a doctor for a phone consult, or an ambulance will be sent.

Be ready to give your address, including your flat or house number.

🏥 Emergency rooms

If you can make your own way to a hospital, these are the main public emergency centers:

  • CAP Güell (for urgent but non-hospital care). 📞 972 21 07 08. Open 24/7

These centers will treat you without requiring immediate payment.

If you are not in the public health system, you’ll receive a bill you can send to your insurance provider.

Note: EU citizens with an EHIC card are covered for public care.
