    • Overland Running. Fast pace. They do a Wednesday women's run that's about 6 minutes per km.[1]

  • La Devesa Municipal Sports Area (in the middle of La Devesa) has three tennis courts and two padel courts[2]. It also has beach volleyball and beach tennis courts.

The only places to play darts on Girona are Cu-Cut and Ilusiona Girobowling. Cu-Cut can get busy.

Climbing

  • Cal Mico rocadrom (Carrer d'Alacant, 13). Entry: €12 (+ €2 for shoe rental). Bouldering and top rope (you don't need a partner). Also a small gym. They also have monthly membership option. No powder chalk allowed, only liquid chalk.

  • Via Ferrata Cala del Molí (Sant Feliu de Guíxols). First part open, full route opens May 31 (€40 for full, €30 for partial). You can go without a guide.

Snorkelling and scuba diving

Skiing and snowboarding

  • La Molina (2 hour drive) No public transport from Girona, car is the only option. Accessible by bus from Barcelona. Has a ski school

  • Rasos de Peguera is an abandoned ski station where people go for free skiing & hiking (08612 Castellar del Riu, Barcelona)

Golf

Basketball

Girona has several public places to play basketball:

Girona has a basketball team called Bàsquet Girona. They formed in 2014. They play at Municipal Pavilon Girona in Fontajau. You can also just go to see amateur children teams playing, without needing to buy a ticket.
