Shopping in Girona
From Guide to Girona
In Girona, most things can be bought on Amazon.es. It's just generally the convenient place to buy stuff. If ordering from outside the EU (from Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com for example), you may need to pay import tax.
Most shops in Girona are closed on Sundays, and those that are open tend to close early.
There is a shopping mall just outside Girona called Espai Girones. It's a 1-hour walk from Girona or 30 minutes by bus. It has shops, a cinema, food court, restaurants, bowling, and free parking.

- furniture Ikea. Girona doesn't have an Ikea, the nearest is in Barcelona. It does however have an "espai de planificació" (Carrer de Joan Maragall, 21). You can go there, make an order, and then pick it up a few days later from the "punto de recogida" (Carrer de Sant Joan Bta. la Salle, 38). The punto de recogida provides free trolleys to wheel your purchase to your apartment. Nothing is louder than wheeling a trolley through the streets of Girona.
