Getting around Girona
Girona doesn't have a metro or tram, just bus services. You can also use the city's bike rental scheme Girocleta to cycle around, or you can see the city just by walking.

Bono Recurrente (Recurrent Travel Ticket) Refunds:
- Refunds start after the 15th of the month.
- Cash payments require presenting the ticket and providing a bank account number.
- Card payments are refunded automatically.

The taxi rank is just outside the arrivals terminal. Often, people will be queuing for a taxi.

They're run by a company called Sagalés AirportLine.
According to the <a href='https://www.sagalesairportline.com/en/timetables-and-lines/barcelona'>Sagales website</a>, the only times the bus leaves Barcelona Airport are 10:00, 16:55 and 22:30.

There are two trains to get – from one the airport to Barcelona Sants train station, and then antoher from Barcelona Sants train station to Girona train station.

When you arrive at Barcelona airport and you’ve gotten through passport control, look for this sign:

Train from Barcelona Sants train station to Girona
Once at Barcelona Sants, you can buy a ticket for the train to Girona train station The trains from Barcelona to Girona can be confusing though, because there's two types: the slow trains (which take about 1.5 hours) and the fast trains (which take 40 minutes). You want to get a fast train if possible to get a ticket for the fast train, look for the ticket booths that have "Larga Distancia" above them that means "long distance" the booths for the slow train have "Media Distancia" above them, which means "medium distance" Here's a photo showing the booths <img src='img/2019-12-26_booths.jpg'> You can see that the booths in the middle have "media distancia" above them while the booth on the far right has "larga distancia" above it
Another thing I just thought of is that you could take a taxi from the airport to Barcelona Sants train station Takes 10 minutes and cost around €25
And you could get one from the terminal you arrive in, Terminal 1<footer><a></a></footer>
