Escola Verd

Escola Verd (Green School) is a primary school in Eixample. Ages range from I3 (ages 3 and 4) to sisé (ages 11 to 12).
There is a mural on the front gate of the school that was painted on 27 September 2018. It is signed "Norte Marta", though it is unclear who this is.
History[edit]
Escola Verd was inaugurated on April 23, 1933 and was called the “Ramon Turró” school group.[1]
From 1939 to 1964, it was a girls' only school.[1]
In 1964, it changed its name to Bisbe Lorenzana. [1]
In the early 1990s, the school's name was changed to Escola Verd, because its façade had always been painted that color, and residents were already refering to it as Escola Verd. [1]
